9:41pm “Time for one!” 9:42pm “Time to do!” 7/6/16

9:41pm “Time for one!”

We make time for everything. Somehow our kids get fed. We make it to work mostly on time. We answer those emails, check our social media, browse the web, watch t.v., go to church, spend time with family, friends, and so many other things. So if we can do all those and more; why can’t we make time for “one”? Making the time to see His body come into alignment and “oneness”. Is it easy? No, it takes work; it takes “time” it takes investment. This oneness of His is going to take place with OR without our involvement. He will either wait us out or move us out. One of the most weird things I have seen repeated several times is this:

“O I love this church! See ya next week!” or

“I’m never leaving here!” or

“This is just the place we are looking for!”

Those statements and more came from people I never saw again. Some of them were people I had spent several years with in a church family. I know their future goals were tied with mine. But, they gave up, quit, left, stopped pursuing.

How can we who are prophetic people; not see that God wants oneness? Better yet; why do we refuse to do it?

Do you not think that, the ones who CAN SEE the signs of the times and who SHOULD know the best course for His body to take (sons of Issachar) ; should be the FIRST ones entering into oneness? Why are we afraid to do it?

Someone (a group of people) IS going to do it. He is calling us to, but God is fully patient. He knows that a group of people WILL enter into it. His word NEVER returns to Him void!

Like a quote from Pastor Ryan Wyatt’s message this last week: “Don’t be busy with the urgent and allow that (the urgent) to distract you from the most important”.

We all face the urgent daily. They are always screaming at us for our attention, but they; urgent as they are; are definitely NOT the most important! Can’t we “carve out” some time for that which God is calling our attention to. If oneness was not important/imperative; Jesus wouldn’t have prayed it in John 17:21 to the Father.

Also, Holy Spirit has made sure that; that prayer was recorded into the cannon of scripture.

Let’s determine to enter into what Jesus prayed and not let ourselves be disqualified because of the daily “urgent”. If you weren’t needed/wanted/destined/called for the “here and now” of God (the working of His promise; for THIS “house”) you wouldn’t be on the earth, in this country, in the region, in the state, in the locale. OR definitely not in this particular “house”.

9:42pm “Time to do!”

Since we are HERE (in this house). “Many hands make for light work”.

I know this is not a bible “proverb”. If you want one, how about Ecclesiastes 4:10b “Woe to him who is alone, when he falls he has not another to lift him up.”

I need you. Do you in turn not need a “me”? If we agree that we need each other what are we to “do” about it? How about entering wholeheartedly into what the leaders placed over us for our protection and direction have directed.

“Well, sometimes that just isn’t my thing”.

If we all pull in the same direction (towards God and His plan) does this not get you closer to your personal destiny?

Better yet, how about coming into proper alignment with Him; and fulfilling the destiny of those gone on before us. They are waiting (the great cloud of witnesses) for us to obtain the promises they were not able to obtain in the land of the living. Wouldn’t it better serve us; and the body of Christ to lay down our “own” and desires for such things; and pick up “theirs”? They are WITH Christ, but are looking upon the earth for the promise; promised to them (by God) to be fulfilled! They have waited much longer than you & I have for our promise. And they have endured. And many have paid a much higher cost than we have. So let’s play our part in bringing justice into an unjust culture. This isn’t mysterious or hard to understand, but it is hard to DO!

“Greater love has no one that this: to lay down one’s life for their friends”. John 15:13.

If we are called to this becoming “one” principle don’t you think we ought to first interact with each other? Get to understand each other? Value each other? Receive from each other? Protect each other? Love each other?

YES! We must enter in to all those things before we can be expected to lay our lives down for each other! As it is in the natural so it is in the spirit. So don’t abort the process in either one!

The greatest journey of our lives lies before us, and we have the ticket in our hands! If we don’t start by getting on the ship (Interacting and learning to trust each other) how will we EVER unfold the destiny, adventure, discovery, treasure, and promised new land that lies ahead!

Your fellow shipmate in Christ
