Are the stars limited in their brilliance when we can’t see them?
Are the Heavenly Bodies missing because they are hidden from view?
Do the ancient rivers stop their flow because of our modern conveniences?
Is the rhythm of The Triune affected by our dissonant chord?
Does our temporal sway His Eternal?
Does the opinions of the masses convince The One?
Does our corrupt justice, corrupt The Judge?
Is His Truth affected by our lies?
We are blind and cannot see… does this mean that everyone is blind?
We are deaf and refuse to hear… is there no sound to be heard?
We are mute and too unlearned to speak… is there no one speaking?
Why do we rely on the current trend which cannot support us?
Why do we abandon the old paths?
Why do we tear down the ancient marker, and remove it from it’s place?
Why are our hearts torn?
Isn’t our gaze supposed to be fixed?
Idle minds and busy bodies… where is Our (with Him) resting place?
Selah…
O how I long for the Fountains that flow from You!
You are my Foundation!
My God, You are my Source!
I cannot deny Your Sovereignty in my life.
I am truly; and only dust without You!
Come, Breathe again so we would Live!
We have left our burning place, the place where we were set ablaze.
Forgive us.
Don’t forget us.
Remember THIS generation; don’t wait until the next!
May our prayers draw You like You once drew us!
Come see the place we have prepared.
We will rearrange it to YOUR liking!
Don’t remove Your Presence from us forever; because of Your anger.
Come near, consume EVERYTHING that hinders Love!
You have waited patiently for us… we will wait, in faithful obedience to You!
