A warning word for prophetic voices:
We want to be considered “Oracles of God”…
But, we no longer stand on His Word.
Now we say whatever comes to our unregenerate minds.
The less our “revelation” can be backed up by Scripture; the more “revelatory” it becomes to us.
Our words have become a wasteland of deception.
All fluff.
All bloviation.
All of our “words” have become ONLY our own opinions; when in reality our opinions should have NOTHING to do with it!
Has our own doctrine become our god?
Has our understanding of the Word; trumped the REALITY of HIS WORD?
We argue over things based out of our own experiences; refusing to lean on His experience.
Instead, our choices are guided by success and comfort. We completely avoid abasement, rejecting any and all pain.
OUR standard for God’s Prophets has become popularity and influence.
Allowing our egos to tell us:
“Our platform and position; are what qualifies our status as a real prophet from God.”
Where are the Sons of “none” (without pedigree or reputation)?
Where are the Sons of THE One?
Where are the Prophets speaking with clarity from a place of obscurity?
Where is the Revelation from Above; instead of the “promoting” from beneath?
Is our “network”, the only measure of our net worth?
Is our social media account the only thing that counts?
Why do we lean on our own understanding, and speak from our own wisdom?
We quickly travel each path to it’s end; looking for our destiny. Causing us to become tired and full of frustration; with the frenetic pace ever increasing.
We attest that we clearly hear the path for others, but for ourselves; we cannot find.
When we are able to clearly hear and share His Word; why are we left empty inside?
Don’t we recognize that this IS a problem?
Don’t we understand?… (That this should never be!)
Why are we drawn away by the many distractions?
We say: “We need a break from this God business.”
Instead, of being about our Father’s business.
We see the mirage of streams in the desert. The promise of wealth and influence, the clamor of praise and desire; all waiting to quench our thirst…
But, where is our hunger and thirst for God?
How can we be empty; but yet say we have had our fill of Him?
We have: “talked about God all week.”
We have: “just come from a revival meeting.”
We have: “just landed from our international journey.”
However our spiritual plane is empty; when it should be full.
We are experiencing the results of feeding on the wrong “fuel”. Completing one “rat race” in an attempt to fuel another.
Can’t we see our current state of futility?
Prophets and Prophetic People, GOD is our SOURCE!
No wonder we are so pathetic and apathetic… we have abandoned our Source!
Operating in our OWN strength; saying…
WE have the ability.
WE have the gifting.
WE have the knowledge.
WE have the understanding…
Don’t we see? By doing and saying these things; we are falling headlong into the abyss!
We are designed to LIVE by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of His Mouth!
We are supposed to be guided by honoring His Word above our own.
We are to function by DOING what we SEE The Father doing!
Instead many are being guided by their own dreams and functioning through their own desires.
But…
It IS HIS Destiny in us that matters!
It IS His Desire through us that matters!
HIS DESTINY.
HIS DESIRE.
NOT…
Our desire, or our destiny.
Those are both left empty and unfulfilled if they are not full of His.
