True words about false prophets-
There is great misunderstanding and deception concerning false prophets. Many people think false prophets give untrue details about future events. This can happen. But, what is so deceptive about false prophets is: their future predictions CAN come to pass (either in actuality, or through the use of seemingly vague language).
This shakes the belief that: “The test of a false prophet is… their word didn’t come to pass.”
How do you think so many were, and are being deceived by false prophets? If nothing they “prophesied” ever came to pass; soon very few would follow them.
Sometimes false prophets have very convincing proofs or signs. It is possible for them to give very accurate and precise details. These can be very accurate about a given situation.
But, it is NOT what God is saying!
The revealed truth is this:
False prophets declare what THEY WANT God to say!
True prophets declare what God IS saying and what He IS saying NOW!
Examples:
False prophets will say peace and safety while God is saying it is time for war and upheaval.
They will say it is time for feasting; when God says it is time for fasting.
They will say it is time to refrain from negativity; when God wants to confront sin.
They will say it is a time for celebration; when God says it is a time for travail and weeping.
They will say it is time for prosperity; when God says there is a famine in the land.
They will ignore the continuance of sin in His people saying:
“We have prepared our hearts for revival”.
While God longs for those called by His name to turn away from sin; so He can come and revive us.
They clamor for unity; as long as it is their compromised and contaminated version of unity.
While God declares: His unity is found in purity!
I recently heard some well-known “platform prophets” (you discern which kind they are) talking recently about their fasting. A fast they were encouraging others to join in with them.
I was mortified at the description of their “fasting”.
These are their true; yet unbelievable responses. I would not have believed it myself. But, I heard and saw them on the recorded broadcast in which they talked about their “call to fasting” for over an hour.
One said “I’m fasting by celebrating.”
The next one said “I’m fasting by feasting.”
The third one said “I’m fasting (from) negativity.”
Unfortunately, they were all serious!!!
They said that they were “fasting” on behalf of their region (which is a leader in spiritual wickedness). But, they did NOT say their region was especially wicked; or even particularly wicked at all!
They also did NOT respond like Isaiah:
“Then said I, Woe is me! For I am undone and ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”

Nor did they respond like John did in Matthew 3 declaring for us “To flee the wrath to come!”
Sin was NOT confronted in their discussion. Repentance was a passing afterthought.
But, they did say: “revival is coming”…
What?!!!
Revival coming to a people that REMAIN wicked?
Wicked like Sodom and Gomorrah!
Sounds like something straight out of the Bible. Wickedness overrunning, with the cries of “peace, peace” from the false prophets; while God must come in suddenly with swift judgement!
These men have “position”.
They have a “platform”.
But, does any of that matter?
Except for the fact that they have a position and a platform to spread lies!
Shouldn’t we rather obey God; than men?!!!
Where’s our discernment?!!!

Our discernment is eaten away because we refuse to confront error and continue to swallow lies.
The more “tainted things” (lies/half-truths) that we swallow; the less we are able to discern “tainted things”.

ALL current prophets and prophecies WILL line up with Scripture. Lining up themselves with either the true prophets and prophecies in Scripture; or with the false prophets and prophecies in Scripture.

The most deceptive enemy is the one that speaks your language!
For clarification and some better understanding for those that would say:
“Where’s the grace?”
And…
“We all miss it at times.”…
We as Believers are to be filled with Holy Spirit and as such are able to prophecy. There is much learning and growing for new Believers; in many ways they are like young children.
HOWEVER…
The five fold office gifting of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd, Teacher is NOT to be filled with young children; but with mature sons!
Someone that fills one of those offices is held to a higher standard. Those offices are NOT to be filled with “guess work” or the ideas of men; but with the Wisdom of God flowing through mature sons!
They (the people themselves) in those offices either line up with the Spirit and Word of God proving themselves true. Or, they are NOT in alignment with God’s Spirit and Word; and prove themselves false.
We have been given these two things to combat and discern false prophets: God’s Word and Holy Spirit. Each person that is operating in the true five fold office will/should line up with God’s Word and Holy Spirit.
We must do our part by stopping our receiving of things from false prophets and other false five fold gifts. Stop trying to “weed out” the good words from the bad. Reject hearing from them! They are broken cisterns. In their current state they CANNOT give forth the fresh, life giving water from above! Their only flow is the brackish, stinking flow of self-contamination.
Body of Christ…
Stop receiving deception!
Stop receiving from false apostles, false prophets, false evangelists, false shepherds, and false teachers!
Start receiving and demonstrating God’s discernment!
We MUST get our discernment back!
We can only do this by returning to The Source of Truth!
